The Northshore Utility District (NUD) is committed to providing safe and reliable water & sewer services to its customers.  NUD actively partners with other agencies to achieve this goal and views the customer as a partner as well.  We know that construction can be very disruptive and noisy; however, this is necessary to provide the best service possible for now and into the future.  NUD staff appreciate your patience as we work in your area.

Asphalt grind and overlay of the areas is planned after completion of all the water installations and connections, and when weather allows.   All trenches will be hot patched before the contractor moves off the site. Advanced notifications will be provided for planned outages and are not expected to last more than 6-8 hours during a single day.

Local access to driveways, emergency vehicles, garbage pickup, and mail service will be facilitated. There may be a few minutes’ delay when the equipment is directly in front of a driveway, so please allow extra time in your travel schedule.

WORK LOCATIONS + PROJECT UPDATES AS OF MARCH 2, 2026

Northshore Utility District (NUD) will be replacing water main and services in 7 neighborhoods within the District’s boundary.

The 7 locations are referred to by the Letter “A”, “B”, etc, and the numbers represent the streets impacted and the closest cross streets. The contractor’s schedule indicates they will go in the order below, with each neighborhood taking approximately 4-6 weeks of work. The final grind and overlay in all neighborhoods will take place in mid-late summer.

A – 190/35… Work on NE 190^th Place, Lake Forest Park- Complete except for Overlay

F – 120/80…Work on 80^th Place NE, Kirkland—Pipe in. Testing and Connections next

E – Juanita/88…Work on Juanita Lane, Kirkland- March, Installing pipe, testing

G – 124/106…Work on 106^th Place NE, Kirkland- Start end of March or first of April

D – 145/104…Work on 104^th Ave NE, Bothell- Start May/June

B – 190/60… Work on 60^th Place NE, Kenmore- Start June/July

C – 198/64…. Work on 64^th Ave NE, Kenmore- Start June/July

Please check back every few weeks as we update this website page. Each location is expected to take 1-2 months of work depending on length of street and number of water services.
