Notice of Cyber Security Incident - Automatic Funds Transfer Services, Inc. (AFTS): Northshore Utility District (NUD) was notified today (February 9, 2021) of a cyber security incident involving its payment processing vendor, Automatic Funds Transfer Services, Inc. (AFTS). The AFTS servers were illegally accessed by an encrypted ransomware attack, occurring between February 3, 2021 and February 4, 2021. SEWER PERMIT INSPECTIONS

Call (425) 398-4401 to schedule a side sewer inspection Monday - Friday. 

Inspection requests must be made by 4:30 pm the day before the requested inspection.

 

Permit Requirements

Side sewer permits are required for all new sewer connections and all repairs or modifications to existing sewer connections.

When making application for a new sewer service, your completed permit application must be accompanied by a site plan of your property and a completed King County Sewage Treatment Capacity Charge form.

Contractor Requirements

All contractors who preform utility work, including side sewer work, in Northshore Utility District must be registered with the District. Contractors must have a valid Washington State contractor’s license, complete the District’s required application and provide their valid insurance information. Insurance requirements are listed on page two of the contractor application. Permits will not be issued to contractors with expired or incomplete information on file.  Additional information regarding side sewer connections is detailed in the District's side sewer specifications.
