Besides a lifetime of public service and
experience in the financial services industry, Don has always been
interested in public sector risk management. He worked to form the
Washington Water and Sewer Risk Management Pool and chaired its
first Executive Board. He was re-elected to Board years later when
that organization faced a financial crisis. Don has the longest
tenure on the Northshore Utility District Board of Commissioners.
He has represented the District in various inter-agency source development
projects.
